| THE CONCEPT |
The concept of the Joy FM Bridal Fair, borne out of the station’s tradition of providing useful, convenient and top class services to the community, is to put together the biggest collection of providers of products and services relating to the organization of marriage ceremonies within the confines of a single location. The idea is to create the most expansive and congenial platform for the providers to showcase their products and potential to the public. The reverse benefit is also to facilitate the easy access of such bridal products and services to the public. |

| THE HISTORY |
From the modest beginning of conception crystallizing in the maiden event at the Golden Tulip Hotel in 2003, the Joy FM Bridal Fair has over the years, come to represent the essence of the Bridal industry and assumed the enviable position as the industry’s biggest one stop shop for bridal products and services. The fair is reflective of the hallmarks of organizational excellence, maximized business opportunities and a most conductive atmosphere for social interaction. |

| PATRONAGE |
Participation and patronage have seen consistent increase over the years. Over 75 exhibitors mounted stands at the last event in 2008. This year is expected to register a record number of exhibitors moreover with the introduction of the novelty food village. |

| VISITORS |
Over 10,000 visitors went through the fair venue last year. These were mainly the target class of people for exhibitors and associated business outfits. |

2009 JOY FM BRIDAL |
This year’s event takes place from Thursday 25th June to Sunday 28th June 2009 at the Accra International Conference Centre. The fair opens each day from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm and all Joy FM Programmes running between those times will be broadcast live from the fair venue. These programmes will include the Super morning show, Cosmopolitan Mix, Drive Time, News file, Mega Hits, Open House Party, Joy Beach Jam and a lot more. |

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES |
Products and services expected to be on display include wedding gowns, decorations, pastries, invitation cards, wax prints, shoes, car rental, carriage drawn horses, personal and baby care ranges. Also on exhibition will be household products like furnishing, electrical and domestic appliances.
A number of financial institutions will also be participating in his year’s event to introduce innovative and related products and services to exhibitors and visitors. |

HIGHLIGHTS |
The usually heavily-patronized marriage seminar will take place on the morning of the 28th June 2009 at the main auditorium of the Conference centre. The proposed speakers for the event are Rev.Kessiedu, Rev.Tetteh Dangmah, Nana Oye Lithurs and others seasoned authorities on marital issues.
Our fashion show this year will showcase the latest stunning creations in bridal gowns. The newest looks in men’s bridal wear will be featured as well as wedding party fashions and those of the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom among others will be modeled.
Due to the learning’s from last year when the event brochure was overscribed, we will this year print over 10,000 copies for our sponsors, exbitors and visitors.

SECURITY |
Adequate security will be provided at the fair venue. A good number of uniformed and plain clothed police and security service personnel will be deployed to ensure the safety of exhibitors and visitors. Entry into the fair is absolutely free and the same applies to the marriage seminar and fashion show. |
