The Trade Union Congress (TUC) has threatened a strike if Government does not show real commitment during Thursday’s meeting on salaries of workers.

Stalled salary negotiations between Organised Labour, led by the Trades Union Congress, and government represented by the Fair Wages Commission resume on Thursday, after earlier discussions were stalled.

The TUC issued a June 26th ultimatum to government last Friday, and hinted that it would not be responsible for any industrial actions that might occur when the deadline expires.

TUC Secretary General Kofi Asamoah said members of the union will advise themselves based on the outcome of the discussion with government.
