The man behind the words ‘Appietus in the mix’ and popular songs like Praye’s ‘Angelina’, ‘Ron Ron Some things’, 4X4’s ‘World Trade Centre’ and many others has earned a place in the annals of Ghanaian music as one of its best engineers.

Appietus, known in real life as Appiah Dankwah, has confirmed in an interview with Myjoyonline that he is currently recording the second edition of his popular hit mixtape ‘Appietus Compilation’.

The first compilation released in 2005 featured artistes like Praye, Wutah, Ebo, K.K. Fosu, Adane Best, 5Five and Samini.

His new compilation is billed to have Castro, Reggie Zippy, K.K. Fosu, Kwabena Kwabena, Tinny, Wutah, Nframa, Nii (of mentor fame) and Iwan, T.J. (Trust Jah) who won the Appietus Idolz in 2008 and Mick (of Mentor fame).

Other big artistes are also billed to also make an appearance on the compilation.

Asked what music fans should expect in the second compilation, he said he is always upgrading in terms of sound and quality and people should expect something great.

Appietus revealed that the various artistes are currently busy working on their tracks. He expects this compilation to be bigger than the first one given the quality the artistes have displayed so far during the recording session.

He urged his fans to be on the lookout as he puts finishing touches to his latest work.
