Aphrodisiac Nite Club, one of the hottest clubs in Ghana on Wednesday night, October 28, held a re-opening party dubbed ‘The Grand Invasion’ at its new venue in Dzorwulu.

The party was to commission its new venue and also to mark the permanent relocation of all the clubs activities.

The event drew a sizable number of music and club goers all dressed in white.

Music icons, Praye, Tinny, Castro and celebrities, Kofi Adjorlolo, Vicky Zugah and Nigerian movie star Jerry Amilo were there to grace the occasion.

The new venue

The new Aphrodisiac club is very spacious and well planned than its former venue.

Club goers will definitely get more value for their money with the new infrastructure, the club owner and the management have put in place.

The problems

There were a lot of complains with respect to the day and timing of the event. The re-opening day, Wednesday was a working day which prevented a lot of people, the working class from attending the event.

The event was supposed to start at 10pm and due to reasons best known only to the organisers, it started at around 2 am.

The delay made most of the ‘Working class’ return home before the show begun.

VIP Cards were given out to certain personalities and it was rather unfortunate to see the bouncers deny some of these personalities access to the VIP Lounge raising concerns over the essence of the VIP Cards given out.

Although there were initial organizational flaws, the event finally picked up by which time, most people had gone home.
