Some senior management of Merchant Bank were treated to a rare preview of the latest movie ‘A Sting in a Tale’ produced by Sparrow Productions at the Silverbird Cinema in Accra.

The event was to afford the management the opportunity to see the movie as the main sponsor ahead of its grand premier later this week.

The story
The story is about two university graduates struggling to obtain employment in a hostile environment. A struggle for one of them was compounded by the responsibility of feeding an idle girlfriend.

A patron's view
Paa John Dadson, an art enthusiast who was at the screening of the movie told Joy News that it was heart-warming for cooperate entities to find value in the movie industry as well as the arts, “...the fact that all these banks are now looking into the arts is very interesting. We have Fidelity Bank sponsoring Uncle Ebo Whyte’s plays.

“Now, Merchant Bank is also here sponsoring the arts. I think it’s a good sign that people who are coming up now are doing something exciting. Everybody came out really pleased because...it is very down to earth.”
