Sparrow Productions, producers of the blockbuster, ‘Perfect Picture’ has premiered its latest production, ‘A Sting in a Tale’.

The well-attended premiere was graced by the movie’s casts like Majid Michel, Adjetey Anang, Lydia Forson, Doris Sackitey, and the movie's director, Shirley Frimpong-Manso among others.

This premiere comes after the producers held an executive screening of the movie earlier in the week for its sponsors.

Synopsis

A sting in a tale is a twisted tale of two unemployed graduates who embark on a journey to make it in a world where you need more than what you have to get what you want. Kuuku played by Adjetey Anang is overwhelmed with the agency to succeed and frantically searches for a reward to his several years of school.

Frustrated and constantly reminded of his failure by the presence of his girlfriend, Frema played by Lydia Forson; Kuuku will do anything to make the odds work in his favour. Nii Aryee played by Majid Michel, Kuuku’s abstemious looking friend is more positive about the future until the rejection letters begin to mount and his landlord comes to town.

The Director

Shirley Frimpong-Manso, director of the movie, which took her six months to shoot, in an interview with Myjoyonline.com said each movie she does is a personal challenge to aim high and achieve the best.

“We like to challenge ourselves and improve on what we do. Every movie, we like to make it different and take it up the notch. We want to take this movie to many places outside Ghana. We want to go to festivals and compete and see how we do. We will correct our mistakes and improve on it and come back bigger and better.”

She said the future is bright and she will continue to do what she does best.

The premiere also had in appearance celebrities like Akofa Asiedu, VIP, 4X4, Mzbel, Jackie Appiah and a host of others.
