Multimedia Group Limited (MGL) today donated a Dell desktop computer to the Ghana Institute of Journalism towards the institute’s Second Congregation slated for Saturday, October 25.

The GIJ will be awarding prizes to deserving students who excelled in various courses and subjects, and the computer will form part of the award to the Overall Best Student for the occasion.

The donation followed an appeal by the institute in a letter signed by the acting Rector, Mr Kweku Rockson.

Multimedia similarly donated a desktop computer to the institute last year towards the same cause.

Ms Natalie Ofori, Human Resource Executive of Multimedia, presented the computer on behalf of the company while the Senior Assistant Registrar of GIJ, Mr. Kwame Ofosu Obeng, received it on behalf of the institute.
