The Chief Executive Officer of the Multimedia Group Limited, Mr. Kwasi Twum and several media owners from across the African continent are meeting to exchange ideas and experience.

The meeting in the Senegalese capital Dakar is being attended by some 30 media investors. The World Bank is facilitating the programme, which will also discuss access to credit.

The Bank’s Director for External Affairs and Communication Eric Chinje says the outcome will influence the bank’s investments in the media industry.

The media owners have formed the African Media Leaders’ Forum which will meet regularly to discuss ways to improve the performance of the industry.
