Joy FM has made available over GH¢8,000 to pay for surgery on two children diagnosed with severe medical conditions.

Four-year-old Morgan Amenuveve has a huge tumor on her right jaw and neck, and requiring urgent surgery.

The other, 10-year-old Victor Doku, has an advanced form of cancer. Joy FM listeners made donations after an appeal to raise funds for the surgeries.

Father of Morgan Amenuveve, Michael Morgan, expressed delight at the gesture shown his family.

General Manager of Joy FM, Ekyi Quarm, said the decision to support the two children is part of the station’s social responsibility.
