Telecommunication giants, Globacom, are facing difficulties in stitching up a deal with Ghanaian Premier League sides to take over the league's sponsorship naming rights.

Although the clubs are elated with Globacom's US$ 3 million sponsorship deal but are at variance with the benefits of the sponsors.

Globacom demands its logo embossed on the shirts (chest), pants and sleeves of all the jerseys of the 16 clubs.

Also, Globacom wants the teams to brand their buses, which is vehemently disagreed.

But this does not suit clubs like King Faisal, Kotoko and Hearts of Oak who have sponsorship deals with rival telecommunication providers.

The Premier League Board is expected to agree a deal by the close of the week.
