Rainstorm to hit Ghana

The Ghana Meteorological Agency, on Monday cautioned the public that a moderate to severe rainstorm observed over Togo and moving steadily westward is expected to give rise to squally rain in the country.

This is expected to occur in Bawku, Yendi, Tema and surrounding areas between 2130 and 2230UTC and Bolgatanga, Tamale, Koforidua, Accra and surrounding areas between 2200 and 2330UTC.

Pina, Buipe, Kumasi, Cape Coast and surrounding areas are also likely to experience the stormy rain between 0230 and 0330UTC and Wa, Damongo, Bole, Sunyani, Takoradi and surrounding areas between 0400 and 0530UTC.
